SIDNEY — the Sidney High School Music Boosters awarded 10 scholarships to graduating seniors during the annual senior night awards ceremony on May 10. The scholarships totaled $10,000.
Outgoing President Bob Barnes presented the scholarships to the seniors. Receiving scholarships were Ian Humphrey, $2,000, SHS Music Booster Scholarship; Grace Shell, $1,500, SHS Music Booster Scholarship; Carly Drury, $1,500, SHS Music Booster Scholarship; Jennifer Feree, $1,000, SHS Music Booster Scholarship; Lauren Heaton, $1,000, Alma and Robert Allinger Family Scholarship; Logan Johnson, $1,000, Helyn Hobby Spinner Family Scholarship; Cameron Fogle, $500, Robert E. and Catherine A. Barnes Family Scholarship; Lanie Shoukri, $500; Robert E. and Catherine A. Barnes Family Scholarship; Jenna Rice, $500, SHS Music Booster Sholarship; and Cory Febo, $500, SHS Music Booster Scholarship.
SHS Music Boosters has honored several students and awarded more than $50,000 in scholarships over the last six years.
Oficers for the 2017-18 school year will be President Stephanie Wilson, Vice President Lisa Brady, Treasurer Julie Gibson and Secretary Amy Murray.
