SIDNEY — Amanda Seger, a recent Fort Loramie High School graduate, was chosen to receive the $350 Harry and Mary Bennett Scholarship, administered by the Community Foundation of Shelby County.

Seger is an agriscience education major at the Agricultural Technical Institute at the Ohio State University, Wooster. She is the daughter of Ken and Janice Seger, of Fort Loramie.

The Harry and Mary Bennett Scholarship was established by a bequest from Ruth Bennett Emmons in memory of her parents. This scholarship is awarded annually to a Shelby County high school senior planning to pursue an agriculture-related major.

Online applications are available at www.commfoun.com after Jan. 1 each year.
