COLUMBUS — Elizabeth Landis, of Anna, has been selected to receive a scholarship from the Department of Agricultural Communication, Education, and Leadership at the Ohio State University.
Landis was presented the Agricultural Education Scholarship at the department’s annual banquet at the end of spring semester. This competitive scholarship is given to students studying agriscience education or community leadership. A scholarship selection committee reviewed applications and selected recipients.
The agriscience education major at Ohio State prepares its students you to acquire a license to teach agricultural science in secondary high schools in Ohio and across the country, with extensive training in agricultural science, educational psychology, instructional methods, and youth development.
