HOUSTON — Houston High School graduate Dylan Hensley has been awarded the 2017 Scott Ayers Memorial Scholarship.

Hensley was announced as the winner of the $500 scholarship at the Houston High School graduation ceremony.

While at Houston High School, he was involved in the FFA and was a member of the basketball and baseball teams. At Upper Valley Career Center, Hensley was enrolled in the aerospace occupations program and was a member of Skills USA and Student Senate, where he held several offices. He will attend Bowling Green State University this fall and plans to become a pilot.
