DAYTON — A local resident received her degree from the University of Dayton during recent commencement exercises

Kerrie Beth Josefovsky, daughter of Jody and Bonnie Josefovsky, of Piqua, received her bachelor of science degree in middle childhood education. She graduated magna cum laude.

She is a graduate of Lehman Catholic High School, Sidney.
