HOUSTON — The Houston Community Association has awarded two scholarships of $500 each to local students.

The recipients are Isaiah Beaver, son of Becky and Matt Beaver, of Houston, and Allison Voisard, daughter of Kim and Luke Voisard, of Sidney.

Beaver plans to attend the University of Dayton to study engineering. Voisard plans to attend the University of Cincinnati to study elementary education.
