Fairlawn Fall Festival set for Friday

SIDNEY — The annual Fairlawn Fall Festival will be held Friday, Oct. 27, at Fairlawn School, located at 18800 Johnston Road, Sidney.

The festival will feature games, food, and prizes. The Harvest Café will be open from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. and will be serving homemade soups, sandwiches, pies and more. Festival games will be open from 6 to 9 p.m. Games include the Bake Walk, Plinko, Ring-a-Pop, Dice Roll, Fish Pond, a bounce house, and many more. Many of the games and events are sponsored by several club organizations within Fairlawn as their organizations’ fundraisers.

The annual raffle held the night of the festival allows ticket purchasers a chance to win over 100 items, some of which are: flat screen tv, diamond necklace, $150 Visa gift card, American Girl doll and accessories, bike with safety equipment, numerous gift cards, and many other amazing gift baskets and miscellaneous items. Raffle tickets are available for sale now through the evening of the festival for $1 each for regular raffle items and $5 for premium raffle tickets. Tickets may be purchased at the festival.

The annual fall festival is sponsored by the Fairlawn Local Boosters and helps to provide funding for many things needed for grades Pre-K through 12th grade, as needs arise. All community members and their families are invited to attend the event.
