Edison to host college fair

To help parents and students through the college selection process, Edison State Community College will host its annual college fair, Nov. 4, from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the gymnasium at the Piqua campus.

More than 65 colleges and universities from Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky will be at Edison to speak with students, parents and guidance counselors about opportunities in higher education. Advisers and representatives will address questions regarding courses, tuition, job placement rates for majors, accreditation, the transfer process and more.

Edison will highlight its more than 30 associate degrees and one-year certificate programs, designed to help students transfer to four-year colleges and universities or help launch a professional career.

Colleges attending include American National University, Anderson University, Antioch University Midwest, Ashland University, Ball State University, Bowling Green State University, Bradford School, Capital University, Central Michigan University, Cincinnati Christian University, Defiance College, Earlham College, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Ferris State University, Franklin University, Gannon University, Heidelberg University, Indiana Tech, Indiana University East, IU School of Social Work, International College of Broadcasting, Kent State University, Kettering University, Lake Erie College, Malone University and Manchester University.
