OXFORD — Miami University student Emily Stammen, of North Star, spent the fall 2017 semester in Luxembourg as part of a study abroad group. Stammen is majoring in architecture.

With 49 percent of Miami undergraduate students studying abroad for credit by the time they graduate, Miami is ranked first among public doctoral institutions nationwide for students studying abroad.

Fifty-seven percent of Miami students study abroad. This includes students on internships, non-credit and Service-Learning programs, international students who study in a third country, and all other overseas programs completed by graduate and undergraduate students.

In addition to Miami’s Luxembourg campus, Miami students can study abroad in over 90 locations around the world. Miami offers more than 350 co-sponsored study abroad programs that permit scholarship transfer.
