Sam Dewey, of Pleasant Hill, demonstrates taking a catfish off a hook and talked about fishing techniques at the workshop.

Eugene Braig, Ohio State University, talks about pond ecology and lake ecology during the workshop. Other topics included Wash It Away, a tour of Lake Loramie Museum and exploration of the lake, From H to OH, water testing and the Blue River Project WET. The event was sponsored by the Soil and Water Conservation District from Shelby, Darke, Montgomery and Miami counties.
