JACKSON CENTER — Two Jackson Center Elementary School Destination Imagination teams competed recently in global contests in Knoxville, Tennessee.

The Seven Sassy Stagers finished in a tie for 27th place among 57 teams.

The Sixth Grade Sensation finished in 54th place among 55 teams.

While the students were in Knoxville, they met teams from Turkey, China and Poland, explored Knoxville and participated in hands-on learning exercises led by NASA scientists.
