Faith Banquet deadline nears

SIDNEY — A vision for Christian Academy Schools will be the focus of the keynote address during the school’s annual Faith Banquet, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 6 at 6 p.m. in the school, 2151 W. Russell Road.

The dinner is free; however, advance registration is required by 3 p.m., Friday, Oct. 5, and donations will be accepted during the event. To register, call 492-7556 or email [email protected].

Dick Dray, the new head of the school will be the speaker.

Dray’s talk is titled, “Eternal Return on Investment.”As Christian Academy is entering its 40th year, the event will include highlights of the contributions of now-retired Superintendent Mary Smith and teacher Char King. Alumni will speak, too, about how their education has supported their work around the world.

During the faith banquet, in addition to Dray’s speech, entertainment will be provided by Christian Academy’s show choir, Voices Eternal, who will perform. Attendees will also learn about current faith-centered activities in which students participate at the school.
