SIDNEY — The Council of Religious Education will have its biannual chicken/pork dinner sale, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., in the parking lot of Menard’s, 401 Lester Ave.
Each meal includes one-half chicken or pork tenderloin with potato chips, roll and butter, applesauce and dessert for $8.
Proceeds support the organization’s work to provide religious education to Sidney public school students during the regular school day. The progam began in 1921. Sidney students leave their school buildings for classes that meet in the council’s bus. The lessons are nondenominational.
