JACKSON CENTER — The Jackson Center United Methodist Church will hold its annual Election Day meal on Tuesday, Nov. 6, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Items available for the meal include homemade soups — chili, chicken noodle and cheesy potato; sandwiches — shredded chicken, barbecue, hot dogs and coney dogs; an assortment of pies; and sot drinks and coffee. Each item is individually priced. Free homemade applesauce will be served with each meal.

People can eat-in, carry-out or have the meals delivered to them. To have a meal delivered, contact the church at 937-596-6919.

“This is my final year on the food committee,” said Wanda Kaufman. “I’m training two new members to take over for me. They are Jeanne Ann Williams and Sharon Zimpfer.”

New to the event this year is a cookie and candy table hosted by Kaufman and Joyce Rostorfer. There will also be “One of a Kind Treasures” for sale. Jane Klopfenstein is hosting the treasure room, said Kaufman. Donations will be accepted for the collectibles.

All proceeds from the day will be given to the church, which is located at 202 E. Pike St.
