MARIA STEIN — A Winter Bible study will be held in February and March as the Shrine. The study is devoted to the source and summit of the Christian life, the Eucharist.
“The Eucharist in Scripture explores the biblical theme of meals shared in faithful fellowship and in covenant relationship with God. Old Testament meals and promises provide a foundation for gospel meals with Jesus, culminating in the Last Supper as it is understood throughout the New Testament. Jesus’ bread of life discourse and the early church’s practice of “breaking bread” are also explored.” – Little Rock Scripture Study
This 5-lesson study will run every Tuesday evening starting on Feb. 28 and ending on March 28. Register online at mariasteinshrine.org before Feb. 6.
The Maria Stein Shrine of the Holy Relics provides faith nourishment and spiritual renewal through opportunities for prayer and pilgrimage and inspiration from the lives of the saints.
