COVINGTON — Fields of Grace Worship Center will be hosting a bike blessing event on Sunday, June 12.
The blessing will take place at 9 a.m. in the Market Fresh Parking lot adjacent from the church. At 9:30 a.m., guest speaker Doug Dodge will be giving a message about his life of crime and how he came to find Christ. Dodge was born into violence and alcoholism, raised in foster homes, juvenile lock up and prison. He spent years as enforcer of a motorcycle gang and a slave to addiction.
Dodge eventually found himself face to face with the only man who could bring him to his knees … Jesus Christ. Dodge is now the author of his book 112421 and leader of Forged by Fire Bike Ministry in the Dayton area.
Following Dodge’s message there will be a free pulled pork lunch catered by Batdorf’s Red Barn Catering. Riders are invited to join in a ride following lunch. This is a free event.
