SIDNEY — Emmanuel Baptist Church, 920 Sixth Ave., Sidney, will be hsting a Vacation Bible School on June 5-9 for ages kindergarten through sixth-grade. The event will be held from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
The theme for the week is “Submerge” as participants will be going under the sea to explore God’s word. There will be Bible stories, crafts, music, games and refreshments.
For the mission project, participants should bring nonperishable food items, which will be given to the local food pantries.
Preregistration will be held on June 4 from noon until 4 p.m.

Pasco United Methodist Church
PASCO — Pasco United Methodist Church will be hosting “Cave Quest” Vacation Bible School from July 17-21 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Participants will explore the rock-solid foundation of Jesus’s love with songs, games, treats and make a few crafts. They will build on Bible truths that will help them understand how they can face everyday challenges with Jesus’s provision of hope, courage, direction, love and his power.
On Sunday, July 24, the children will take part in a program at 10:30 a.m. at the church. Final celebration for all who participated during VBS will have an evening with snacks at the Sidney Municipal Pool at 7 p.m.

North Broadway Church of Christ
SIDNEY — The North Broadway Church of Christ has announced the theme for this year’s Vacation Bible School. It is titled “Deep Sea Discovery” and each lesson is geared toward the idea that God is with us no matter where we are.
The Vacation Bible School will be held June 6-10 and is for the ages of pre-school through teenagers. Each night of VBS will start at 6 p.m. and will end at 8 p.m. and will include a Bible lesson, craft, snack and game time.

First Baptist Church of Englewood
ENGLEWOOD — The First Baptist Church of Englewood will kick off its Vacation Bibe School program with a church Block Party on Saturday, June 11, from 5 to 7 p.m.
There will be free cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn, hot dogs and lots of games and prizes. Preregistration for Vacation Bible School for ages pre-kindergarten through eighth-grade will also be done at the Block Party, online at firstbaptistchurchenglewood.com or on the first day of VBS.
Vacation Bible School will be held from Monday, June 20, through Friday, June 24, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. On Saturday, June 25, at 2 p.m. an ice cream social will be held to honor the children who complete VBS.
