Maria Stein Shrine to host cancer prayer service

MARIA STEIN — Prayer to ask the help of Saint Peregrine, the patron saint of cancer, will take place on Sunday, July 17, in the Shrine Adoration Chapel at Maria Stein. The service begins at 2 pm. It is open to all, especially those who have cancer, doctors and nurses and those who are concerned about and give care to those with cancer.

The service will include a prayer, song, testimonials and veneration of the relic of Saint Peregrine. Refreshments and a short social period will follow. The relic chapel will be accessible.

The Shrine is located at 2291 St. Johns Road, Maria Stein, Ohio.
