DAYTON — The Greater Dayton Area Faith Community Nurse/Health Ministers Network will hold its quarterly meetingon Thursday Nov. 17, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Miami Valley Hospital South, Education Center Conference Room, 2359 Miami Valley Drive, Dayton.

The continuing education presentation “Everything You Always Wanted to Know about Continuing Education and the Nurse Practice Act, but Were Afraid to Ask!” will be led by Denise M. Childress, MA, BSN, RN-BC, corporate education specialist, Dayton Children’s Hospital. She will cover components of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, requirements for nursing continuing education and the relationship between the two. This fulfills the requirement for the 1.0 contact hour on Ohio Law and Rules for nurses.
