SIDNEY — A free winter coat giveaway and community meal will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The event will be held in the basement of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 120 W. Water St., Sidney.

Each person needing a coat must be present to receive one coat, even the children. The church will be holding its monthly community meal during the event.
