SIDNEY — The congregation of the Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 606 Park St., will celebrate the Rev. David D. Wynn’s 17th pastoral anniversary, Sunday, March 12.

Church school begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by the morning service at 11 a.m., during which the Rev. Damion Sneed, an associate minister of the Greater St. John Baptist Church, Dayton, will preach.

The celebration climaxes at 4 p.m., when the Rev. Dr. Hence C. Coats and the Pleasant Green Baptist Church of Trotwood will be the guests. All events are open to the public. For information, call 492-5009.
