SIDNEY — The Muleskinner Band will perform Sunday, Sept. 27, at 7 p.m. in the Sidney Presbyterian Church, 202 N. Miami Ave.

The event is free and open to the public.

Bill Purk, a Shelby County native, is the founding member of the group, which began in 1985.The group has recorded several CDs and will have them available at the concert. Focusing on bluegrass, classis country and gospel, the Muleskinner Band has entertained in a six-state area.
