SIDNEY — Pastors Rodney and Angie Reynolds and the congregation at Solid Rock Pentecostal Church of God, 2745 State Route 29 North, invite the community to an afternoon of fun and fellowship for all ages on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Following morning worship at 11 a.m., there will be a carry-in luncheon served at 1 p.m. After lunch, many activities are scheduled, including a homemade apple pie contest, old-time gospel singing out back under canopies, corn-on-the-cob eating contest, jump rope, three-legged sack races, red rover, rubber chicken toss, and other activities.

An old-fashioned traders table will be set up. People may bring their goods to trade and barter. However, do not bring firearms to trade.

People are invited to dress up and show up for any or all activities. Bring a covered dish to share.
