NEWPORT — Due to a thunderstorm forecast for Thursday, July 27, the annual Rural Urban Mass will be moved to Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 6788 State Route 66, Newport, Ohio. Archbishop Dennis Schnurr will celebrate the Mass at 7 p.m.

Catholic Century Farm Awards will be given to eligible Catholic families who have farmed the same land for 100 years.

Mass will be followed by a reception hosted by Sts. Peter and Paul Parishioners.

The annual Rural-Urban Mass is an opportunity for farmers and their neighbors to come together in a prayerful way to praise God for the blessings of faith, farm and family.
