SIDNEY — Holy Angels parishioners had the opportunity to peruse information about outreach ministries in the parish through a new event titled Outreach: Taste and See on Oct. 3-4.

Colorful displays were set up to showcase various ministries. Visitors to the displays were offered prepackaged kits and directions so that they could take home projects to work on and then return. Included were the prayer quilt, little dress, Project Linus, rosary making, beads of courage bags and prayer shawl ministries. The goal of the event was to inform parishioners about opportunities in the parish and to involve more people in them.

Tasting of several fair trade products including chocolate, coffee, hot cocoa, jam and Mother Brunner Bread was available as well as the sale of these products.

Raffle tickets for prizes for the upcoming Fair Trade Christmas Boutique on Oct. 24 from 10-3 at Holy Angels School were sold.
