SIDNEY — Coping With Chronic Illness is a new support group being established at the Sidney First United Methodist Church.

Local residents coping with chronic conditions are invited to take part in a faith-based opportunity to encourage and support each other.

The first session will be held Thursday, Nov. 19, at 6:30 p.m. in The Well on Level 2 of the church. The location will be handicapped-accessible.

The purpose of the group is to allow chronic disease patients the opportunity to share their experiences and exchange information in a welcoming and confidential setting.
