To the editor:

I proudly support Melissa Ackison for the United States Senate. Melissa is a proud American who wants to represent the republic. She is a small business owner and not a career politician whose only agenda is advancing their political career. Melissa is a thoughtful and compassionate person who will listen to and engage with the people she represents. She will advocate for the republic and what is in the best interest of all people, not just the select few.

In the private sector, Melissa has built several businesses from the ground up. She has worked in human resources internationally and domestically. Melissa focused on employees and labor relations, organizational design, and policy implementation. Like many other small businesses, the failed policies of Washington have hurt her business and she is ready to fight back. These government policies are intrusive and unnecessary. The Affordable Care Act is one of these policies that Melissa has personally felt the effects of. Career politicians in Washington do not represent our voice. We need real people to speak up and make changes. Her fight against the establishment is the modern-day David and Goliath story. The establishment doesn’t represent the people anymore, which is why President Trump is in office. We need more of this in Washington and Melissa Ackison can do this for us and defeat Brown!

I urge voters in our great state of Ohio to stand with us. Stand up against career politicians and vote for a woman who will fight for US. Melissa Ackison for US Senate!
