To the editor:

The May primary election is approaching. It is important to vote in May so that we will have the best candidates on the ballot in November.

I believe that Nino Vitale is deserving of support because: 1) He is a family businessman who has experience in the private sector creating and providing jobs. 2) He believes we should grow the economy — not the government. 3) He is a strong supporter of the 1st and 2nd amendments (religious freedom and gun rights). 4) He is a strong supporter of pro-life and pro-family policies which is reflected with his endorsement by the Ohio Right To Life and the Right to Life Action Coalition of Ohio.

He understands that the best way to give the local government more money and power is to reduce the size and spending of the state and federal government. His voting record has consistently shown support for efforts made to reduce spending at the state level. Representative Vitale has shown that he will stand up for the voters in our district when the state government proposes to spend our money or pass legislation that does not represent the values of our voters. Even when other Republicans waffle, Vitale sticks to his principles.

I believe we should take advantage of the opportunity we have to choose our candidates by voting in the primary. Nino Vitale is willing to fight for us; let’s vote for him.
