Return of stole bike sought

To the editor:

We were the victims of a theft on Nov. 7.

My great-grandson we have custody of went uptown Saturday to check for a controller for a game system. While he was out, I asked him to go to Dollar General for me. My husband and I are not able to drive anymore and can’t walk, either. So, Trenton does a lot of things for us. He is a great kid.

Now, if he brought something home he didn’t have money for, he would be in serious trouble. So, if your child brought an almost-new Schwinn bicycle home, where did he or she get it from?

If you’re an adult and took a bicycle from behind the Dumpster out back of Wagner Realty, please take it to the police station and turn it in.

We cannot afford to replace this bicycle given him by a great-uncle. We live on a fixed income. Please turn this bike in. Thank you.
