To the editor:

I first saw the bank around 1953. My grandparents were Mina and Asa Fogt. He and his brother owned Fogt Fuel and Supply in Sidney. My grandfather realized that this building fascinated me. Every time we would go back to the bank I would see some detail that I had forgotten or something brand new.

To the people of Sidney, thank you for taking such extraordinary care of this gem in a jewel box. Here is to the next hundred years!
