The “Country Fun Blood Drive” next Tuesday at St. Michael Hall in Fort Loramie gives you a chance to benefit others while having a good time yourself. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. you can donate your precious blood to help save lives. Enjoy the company of other donors, while entering to win tickets to the world renowned Country Concert ‘18. In addition, as a donor at a Community Blood Center sponsored drive from now until Sept. 1, you are eligible to win a grand prize of a $5000 home improvement gift card (see official rules for this drawing at www.givingblood.org).

Be A Hero, Give Blood | Community Blood Center www.givingblood.org

Blood donation is a community responsibility. While you’re reading this, a local area patient needs blood. When you give blood, it gives someone another smile, another hug, another chance.

In case you did not know, donors always eat well at the June Blood Drive in Fort Loramie. In addition to sandwiches and cookies, ice scream is served to all who donate!

Please understand that maintaining the summertime blood supply can be challenging. Schedules of regular donors may vary significantly due to seasonal activities and blood demand may increase to increased outdoor activities and more travel. Your donation may be the most important one.

Don’t know if you are eligible to donate? If not, email [email protected] or call 1-800-388-GIVE. You can make an appointment to donate at the same telephone number or at www.DonorTime.com. Be sure to encourage your friends and family to donate as well.

Eat well, enjoy the weekend and stay healthy. We hope to see you on the blood donor team next Tuesday!
