To the editor:

I think schools should do the Pledge of Allegiance every morning before classes begin, because I think it is disrespectful to our country when they don’t. When I say the Pledge of Allegiance, I think about the people who sacrificed for our country and the freedoms we have.

My grandparents said it every morning when they were in school, and it seems like people their age are more patriotic. Now at my school, we only say it on Monday morning, which makes me sad. If my school only does one day a week because they are offending students, maybe those students should move.
