To the editor:

We fully support the tax levy renewal for the Sidney City School District on our Nov. 6 ballot as an investment in our community. We are retired people who have lived in Sidney for a quarter of a century, worked long and hard for what we have and have never had a child or grandchild in the district. However, every time we visit our schools, a school event, or speak with someone from the school district, we are impressed. We think voting yes is a great way to positively represent us to the 3,328 young, individual people at SCS.

Wise management by our school administration and board, with continued support from our teachers and staff, has positioned our school district in excellent, current financial condition. This renewal will help our community hold the precious gains that have been made in the past few years, which truly benefit all of us in one way or another.

Please join us in voting “Yes” for Sidney!
