To the editor:

I went to purchase some stamps at the Goin’ Postal Service on East Oak Street in Piqua on Thursday, Dec. 17, 2015. I stepped on the curb and then lost my footing and fell very hard on the cement. This very nice voice said, “Lie still. Can you move your toes? Can you move your left arm, right arm?” She said, “I have called the squad. I heard the fall across the street. You need x-rays.”

I said, “Are you a nurse?”

She said, “Yes I am at Dorothy Love in Sidney.”

I want to give you a great big “thank you.” With so much evil going on today in the whole world, people will hesitate to help. Nothing was broken, but I hurt terrible and the satisfaction there was no breaks.

You need a medal.
