To the editor:

On Feb. 12, there was an article written regarding the upcoming school levy which we will be voting on — a 3-mill, five-year permanent improvement levy. I to have much concern on this, for there is a friend of mine that works in the school system and has informed me that there is a quite bit of money that is in escrow, the amount was about $15 million, and then some. Now that is a large sum of money that can be used beside collecting dust.

The school system has come up with some lame-brained excuses in order to get monies from residents of Sidney, I myself am saying enough is enough. So, I am asking everyone to vote this unnecessary mill down; we did once, we can do it again.
