Become a prayer warrior

To the editor:

I would like to call everyone to become a prayer warrior. There is no organization or list of who or what to pray for. I borrow the phrase of, “If you see something, say something.” Only we will say it in prayer about what has drawn our attention. It could be somebody, or something. Short prayers are just as effective as long ones.

My own son is one of those types who does everything in a hurry. I tell him, “son, most things in life take more than 10 seconds to accomplish.” Even 10 seconds of prayer is heard. God wants to know that we need Him, and that we have faith that He will answer our prayers. There are no wounds in these battles we wage for others. Just the comfort of knowing it is done when we say “amen.”
