To the editor:

I would like to thank everyone who remembered me on my 99th birthday.

I received 120 card, plus letters, notes, phone calls, flowers, candy, gift certificates and several porch visits, even a “Get out of jail free” card that I’m sure I’ll use! I treasure them all!

It brought up memories of people I worked with in nursing over the years and friends and relatives as well! It has been a memorable birthday!
