F.I.S.H. thanks Scouts, contributors for successful food drive

To the editor:

The F.I.S.H. Organization of Shelby County would like to to thank the Scouts of Troop 97 and Troop 5097 for their service to the community food pantries as they collected food during the recent “Scouting for Food” activity. Scouts not only distributed the donation flyers and bags, but collected the food, delivered it to F.I.S.H. and helped sort it so it could be quickly put into our pantry and used. F.I.S.H. also acknowledges all those who so generously donated food items. Shelby County continues to be a place where people care for one another, help those in need and try their best to “love their neighbor”. When terrible things are going on in the world, such as war and people being forced out of their homes and even their country, it is reassuring to remember the good things that we are blessed to experience each day in central Ohio. There was an abundance of food donated and F.I.S.H. is grateful all who contributed. THANKS TO ALL!
