To the editor:

I am a 1962 graduate of Sidney High School and a retired educator. On April 15, I attended the Sidney City Schools Hall of Honor ceremony in the high school auditorium honoring four individuals who, through their performance and achievements, reflect credit on the Sidney City Schools. A close high school friend of mine was one of the four deserving inductees. I was quite impressed by the well organized ceremony, including the fine performances by the current high school Symphonic Choir. The Hall of Honor committee members should be commended for their fine organization of the program. It was good to see that the Yellow Jacket Pride is still alive! I must say that I was proud of how well the building has been kept up .

Sidney has many people who have done great things for this community and may be honored for their accomplishments in future years. Keep up the he outstanding hard work. My pride in Sidney has been renewed. It was nice to visit with former classmates . Overall, a great night! Congratulations Sidney !
