To the editor:

On Saturday morning, July 18, my husband and I were checking out at Kroger when a very nice lady and little girl said they wanted to pay for our groceries — $62-plus. She said that there was no catch, only that God loves you. We were very sorry not to ask her name or tell her ours. We are very grateful for this act of kindness. My husband and I both have cancer problems. We hope this lady reads this in the paper.
