To the editor:

I urge you to reinstate the Bible that was removed from a POW/MIA display in a Veterans Administration clinic in Akron, Ohio, by order of administrator Brian Reinhart and on the demand of atheist Mikey Weinstein.

The purpose of this display is to honor the sacrifice of those who have suffered through captivity in wartime as well as those who have never been recovered and are still missing as a result of U.S. military combat, and does not endorse any particular religion or agenda.

The display has received no objection from the families of MIAs or POWs, and it does not violate any regulations or the U.S. Constitution.

We strongly urge you to honor the memory of those who have sacrificed so much to uphold our freedoms by reinstating this display.
