To the editor:
Do you wish to see local control of education in your community? If so, vote for Lilli Vitale for Ohio State Board of Education District One. We agree with her that parents and teachers know best. The last of our nine children graduated from high school this past spring — 29 consecutive years of having children in Botkins Local School. We placed much importance on the quality of their education. Seven of our children received college degrees. One son will receive his degree next spring, and our youngest is a freshman in college. We agree with Lilli as she says, “I support policies that allow teachers to use individualized approaches so students become life-long learners.”
Lilli is pro-life and pro-family and opposes Common Core. She also supports religious freedom and Constitutional values. In addition, she has extensive knowledge of K-12 curriculum & teaching approaches, with diverse experience in private, public and home education. Her credentials include a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the Ohio State University, child and adolescent development masters level coursework with the University of Dayton, 14 years business experience and 11 years teaching experience. Married for 18 years, she is the mother of five sons.
District One includes 23 counties, and Shelby County is one of them. You can find a complete list of those counties on her website: vitaleohio.com. Exercise your solemn duty to vote and vote for Lilli Vitale!
