To the editor:

On Nov. 8, the residents of Sidney are being asked to support the Sidney City Schools 3.0 Permanent Improvement (PI) levy. It is imperative that this levy passes in order to continue maintaining the facilities and equipment. Keep in mind that most of the school buildings are over 50 years old and are constantly in need of repair. When people are visiting or relocating, they tend to look at our school buildings and grounds. Being a Sidney High School graduate and resident, I am proud of how well the facilities have been maintained. I urge all Sidney voters to support this levy so that our children continue to have a quality learning and safe environment. Vote YES on Nov. 8.
