Public invite to Right to Life event Jan. 22

To the editor:

There are few things in life as important as life its self. Life, the great gift from God must be protected as much as it can be. This is why I am proud to work to protect the life of the unborn. The great coach, Lou Holtz, once told me, “We have to be the voice for these babies, because these unborn babies cannot speak for themselves.” The truth is that as science advances we see more and more proof that life begins at conception; the fact is that at 20 weeks, an unborn child can feel pain.

The Shelby County Right to Life organizes an annual Candlelight Vigil on or near Jan. 22, which marks the anniversary of Roe v. Wade. I ask you to join me in attending this year’s vigil. I ask you to join me in being a voice for the unborn babies. I ask you to stand for life. This year’s event will be on Sunday, Jan. 22, 2017, 7 p.m.
