Thoughts on the Nazi party

To the editor:

I thought at the end of World War II the Nazi Party was long forgotten.

However, it’s apparently reinvented right here in the U.S.A.

Too bad these members do not have to spend two or three days and nights in a foxhole in the middle of winter while being shelled by the Nazi Army, or by the thousands of aircraft that were shot down over the skies of Europe. Thousands of aircraft crew members lost their lives during the war.

I also wonder how proud the current party must be regarding the murder of Jewish men, women, and children during the holocaust years of the 1940s.

I would be very surprised, even today, if anyone in Germany would want to be referred to as a Nazi.
