The Ohio descendants of George Sebastian Helman (1725-1784) will soon celebrate their 100th Helman Family Reunion.

The gathering is Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at Vandemark Farm, 2410 S. Vandemark Road. (Visit Vandemarkfarm.com). The fun begins at 11 a.m. with a cruise-in (anything on wheels!) and access to farm activities (mini-golf, corn maze, etc.) At 1 p.m. there will be a pig roast/carry-in meal. Please bring a dish to share, your table service, and your drinks (bottled water provided). At 2:30 p.m. a family photo will be taken with the photographer remaining on hand for personal sessions. Bring along a copy of a Helman family recipe as well as photos, documents, heirlooms, and memories to share.
