JACKSON CENTER — Because of the extended volleyball season at Jackson Center, the girls basketball season will begin later than scheduled.

The school announced that the scheduled season opener Nov. 24 at Fort Loramie will now be played on Feb. 4 at 6 p.m., and the Nov. 28 game at Minster has been rescheduled for Jan. 4, also at 6 p.m.

The volleyball team is playing in the state tourament beginning Friday.
