Edison splits two games

PIQUA — The Edison Community College women’s basketball team is 3-3 after splitting two games over the weekend.

On Friday, the Lady Chargers defeated OSU-Mansfield 86-62.

Brooke Hickey came off the bench to score 21 points and pull down five rebounds. Brooke Dunlevy had 18 points, while Carley Wynne and Brooke Miller scored 14 points each. Carly Buzzard filled out the stat sheet with nine points, nine rebounds and five assists, while Dana Heckman had eight points and eight rebounds.

On Saturday, Edison lost to Miami University-Middletown 80-66.

Dunlevy had 27 points and eight rebounds, while Buzzard had 26 points, 15 rebounds and two blocked shots. Hickey had eight rebounds and Miller dished out five assist.

Edison hosted OSU-Lima Tuesday, before traveling to Hocking Saturday.
