LIMA — The Christian Academy Eagles took on the Lima Eagles in a holiday tournament in Lima and came away with a 45-37 victory in boys basketball action this week.

Paul Kindig and Jay Curliss led the Eagles with 15 and 13, respectively.

“The game was sloppy on the part of both teams, but we were able to get the shots we wanted in the fourth quarter and we made several free throws down the stretch to allow us to keep a comfortable lead. And we cut our turnovers in half from our first game,” said Christian Academy coach Nathanial Tennant.
