New Bremen upsets Minster

NEW BREMEN — New Bremen sprung an upset in Midwest Athletic Conference play Friday night at home, edging the Minster Wildcats 55-53 for just the Cardinals’ second win of the season.

Minster dips to 6-6 overall and is now 2-2 in MAC play. Bremen is 2-11 and 2-3.

The game was tight throughout, with the score tied at the half and Bremen leading by one after three quarters.

The Cardinals had three players finish with 10 points, including Eric Bowers, Deion Hoehne and Greg Parker.

Minster got 18 from Peter Falk and 10 from Jacob Stechschulte.

Minster is at Anna tonight, and New Bremen travels to Wapakoneta.
